MLB selects GCAA talent
Wendelken, Driggers and White selected in draft

Major League Baseball recently completed their 2012 amatuer draft. Three GCAA players were chosen during the draft. GCAA player of the year and Middle Georgia pitcher JB Wendelken was taken in the 13th round and the 421st pick by the Boston Red Sox.
Also chosen from the Warriors was right fielder D.J. Driggers by the Detroit Tigers in the 22nd round(pick694). Right handed pitcher Thomas White from South. Georgia College was taken in the 24th round(pick 743). MLB teams selected a total of 93 NJCAA players from this years draft
