GMC dominates 2nd ranked Snow

The GMC Bulldogs traveled to Utah to play #2 ranked Snow College and the end result, a 35-17 thrashing of the Badgers made the long bus ride home enjoyable.

QB Pat Thomas accounted for two TD's through the air to TE Ty Flourney-Smith but the running game anchored by freshman running back Javon Robinson's 313-yard performance and two TD's was something Snow couldn't find an answer in stoppingthe GMC offense. Carrying the ball just 19 times, Robinson averaged 16.5 yards per carry. The 18 point victory could have been even larger as GMC had 2 touchdowns called back.

The Bulldog defense kept the Snow offense out of the end zone for most of the day as the Bulldogs secondary had three interceptions, one each by Quintavious Knight, Stephen Houston and Chris Duffy. The Dogs also had a fumble recovery in the game.

The victory propelled a previously unranked GMC into the top 10 at #9. The complete NJCAA football poll is listed below.

GMC will have their home opener September 7 against Atlanta Sports Academy at  1p.m.
