C. GA Tech continues history of community service

CGTC Men's Basketball players participated in a couple of community service projects in the greater Macon area. The first project for the Titans was in Attendance Awareness Month & National Gear-Up Week at Central High School in Macon, GA.

The events theme: "Count Yourself In" challenges students to attend school, every day, all day, on time. Players had the opportunity to speak on the importance of staying in school and host the GEAR-UP Trivia Game.

The second service project took place at Feagin Mill Middle School in Warner Robins. The titans were special guests for the school’s softball, football and cheerleading pep rally. Students were entertained with a dunk exhibition by the men’s team.  At the close of the pep rally the Titans awarded the Spirit Stick and took photos with the student body. Feagin Mill’s principal, Jesse Davis, extended an open invitation to the team to return whenever their schedule permits.
