The Lady Eagles of Oxford College of Emory University finished the regular season with a 3-1 win over Gordon State College this past Friday night,  thus completing a perfect 15-0 season. It is the first time in school history that the eagles finished the regular season untarnished.

Starting the season unranked the eagles slowly moved up the rankings during the month of August but by the end of September and since they have remained ranked #1 and go into postseason play holding the number one spot. During this run the eagles have put up some gaudy numbers scoring 45 goals while allowing only 7 during the entire season. Defensively Daria Zarzeka ranks 4th nationally in save percentage and yielding only 5 goals and a 0.43 goals against average, 6th and 5th respectively in national stats.

The Eagles move on to post-season in the Region XX/District H Championship as the #1 seed, taking on Potomac State (WV) College at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, MD at 4pm, Thursday, October 29th.
