Warriors stop two game skid with win at Atlanta Metro

The Middle Georgia College State College Men’s ended a two game losing streak with 74-49 win over Atlanta Metropolitan State on Saturday 2/2. The Warriors held the Trailblazers to 27% FG % for the game, and out rebounded them 43 to 33. Moe states “ That was the difference in the game, Our defense was the best we played all year and we really attacked the glass.” The win moves the Warriors to 14-5 on the season and 5-5 in conference play.
Cortez Riley lead the Warriors with 15 points, while Shane Heyward added 14 and Joey Harris added 11. Heyward also grabbed 12 rebounds.
The Warriors stay on the road when they travel to Rome, GA to face Georgia Highlands on Monday 2/4 @ 7:30pm.
