South Georgia Tech gives back to the community

Recently the JETS and Lady JETS gave back to the community by taking time to read to 12 different classes at Sumter County Elementary School. JETS Thomas Benson, Jacob Obande, and Aundray Green, along with Lady JETS Portia McCray, Shaquaya Daniels, and Courtne Washington took part in this exciting time of ‘giving back’. “This is such a fun experience for our athletes,” said SGTC Athletic Director Steven Wright, “ and we all really learn what it means to live in, and be part of, such a great community as Americus and Sumter County.”
